The engineer & conductor of Texas State Railroad 4-6-0 #316, built by A. L. Cooke in 1901, converse as the engine steams prior to giving cab tours and loading passengers. In a few minutes the train will back up to allow those who want to tour the locomotive's cab to climb the steps to get to see the workings and controls the engineer operates with. Shortly after that the passengers will board the train, the conductor will give the "All Aboard," the engineer will whistle off and the train will depart Palestine for Rusk, TX. 4/21/2013, 10:11 AM, MP 25.0.
