WPY2015093374 - White Pass & Yukon, Skagway - White Pass, AK, 9/2015
We meet 2 other Summit Excursion Trains and run around our train at the US/Canadian border, White Pass Summit, AK/BC. A cab ride in White Pass & Yukon Route's Alco DL535Es 108 & 101 handling the Summit Excursion Train from the Railroad Dock, Skagway, AK, 9/9/2015, where passengers from the cruise ship Star Princess boarded the train for the ride to White Pass Summit and back.
Please note that due to safety & weather constraints most of the photos were taken from inside the locomotive cabs with doors and winders closed. Therefore, many of the images are not "award" winners, but excellent "record" shots. Thank you.
