Stops Along The Road - Some American Scenes
As we do, many like to travel. The scenes in the Gallery cover a wide range of not only travel, but subjects that may be a little bit different than the normal, "run-of-the-mill, pictures. Not to say that they're great photographs, they aren't or may not be, but some depict a little different view on the subject, or there may not be much of a subject at all. I do hope, however, that you will enjoy at least some of the images and may be challenged to "shoot" your own version of "Stops Along The Road." Enjoy..... flb

Along with the awesome light scenes, there are many hand-built Christmas displays, with some of them initially shown by the Messengers as long ago as 1964. Grandson Jeremy Messenger & family continue the magic today. Thanks to the Messengers for allowing me to photograph and upload their CHRISTMAS LAND story to my website. Lastly a great big thanks for taking the effort, time and interest to tell the Christmas story is a very visible way.
Each hand-built display has a name and the year it was first displayed. I have attempted to note the name & year on the appropriate image. However, in some cases I was unable, at the time to properly identify the display. I will be working with the Messenger’s to correct this.
NOTE: this was my first time taking pictures of the Messenger’s CHRISTMAS LAND. Some of the images aren’t of the quality I expect of my work. In addition, there were some displays which were either overlooked or left out because of the setting of their location. I plan, and hope, to return to make another run at shooting CHRISTMAS LAND IN 2022 to pickup the balance of what is needed to make the tour complete.
